​Silica sol Castings Mirror Polish

Mirror polish is one kind of polishing treatments. Generally, the surfaces of castings will be as smooth and shinning as mirror image after mirror polishing treatment. The surface finish will be Ra0.2 or even less. 

Mirror polish includes mechanical mirror polish and chemical liquid mirror polish.

*Mechanical mirror polish aims to achieve a plat and as shining as mirrow surface by grinding and polishing.

*Chemical liquid mirror polish refers to polish the castings inside special chemical liquids. Castings should be deoiled deeply.

Mirror polish process, works as surface finish treatment, are widely used in treating the surface of stainless steel castings. In our foundry, the silica sol casted stainless steel meat grinder augers are also mirror polished to ensure the surface roughness.
