Balance testing

Our foundry cast various kinds of impellers in process of silica sol casting.

These cast impellers are assembled in high-speed revolution equipment. If these impellers are without good stability or equilibrium, it will causes quality problem or even potential safety hazard.So, we usually do balance testing on the cast impellers to avoid such problems. Quality of the balance tested impellers are with good stability.

Processes

Step 1, Measuring the out diameter of the impellers

Step 2, Setting up parameters on the dynamic balance measuring instrument. The parameters are supplied by customers made according to the actual application of the cast impellers.

Step 3, Calibration and Testing

Step 4, Machining to remove or add materials to adjust the imbalance areas.

During balance testing, the inspector should be very careful and patient. The cast impeller will be tested several times to control the quality.
