Casting redesign services

End of last year, our investment casting factory received lots of samples from one Australia customer. These samples are for one set of equipments. They were made from aluminum, stainess steel, grey iron, etc. 

After detail discussing with customers, they decided to make these parts in material of aluminum and stainless steel.The processes choosed are aluminum gravity casting and silica sol casting.

Upon receipt of tooling costs from customers, we started the samples measuring and drawings designing process. We first completed and supplied the 3D models in Solidworks files for customer's approval. But customers can't open such documents. To get those designs and drawings of castings confirmed, we redrew the official casting and machining drawings in PDF and JPG format. We also do the simulation assembly of all stainless steel castings and the aluminum die castings. Just to ensure that all goes well with each component.

After all details on drawings and assembly confirmed, we start pattern making and sampling process. The components with aluminum material were casted by silical sol casting and machined according to requirements.

We sent all casting samples to customer and got their approval on deminision of all castings. With instruction
on minor changes, we start the mass production of all these aluminum die castings and stainless steel castings.

Upon finishing all of them, we will arrange to deliver these castings to customers.
